Today’s trip to Temecula was roundabout.

Kinja'd!!!

I stopped in one spot in the Valley to take a pic. I have never seen it as beautiful as it was today. Perfect weather, green and lush, flowers blooming. I am glad I took the long way.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

I drove through farmlands, oilfields, and deserts. I went through mountains and towns big and small. I drove next to snowy peaks. This was a day in the car that felt bigger than it was. I left Fresno on Highway 99, then took 198 to 65. 65 is a rural highway that dumps you back on to 99 just before Bakersfield.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Then I took Highway 58 through the Tehachapi Mountains and the desert, ultimately working my way down Peachblossom Highway to Palmdale.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

The last stretch is SoCal freeway, but you can’t win ‘em all.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Cars are for driving.

The Sunchaser looks great with that rolling green field and blue sky! Lovely shot!

And yes, cars are for driving.

Great shot of the Sunchaser and rolling hills. That should be the new Microsoft Windows  home screen.

Always cool to see your trip reports.

Out of curiosity, how much power does the sunchaser make? And how does the experience differ compared to your GTI? The Fiero is about 1/3 as powerful as the FoST so trips in it will be.....interesting.
